Why, in the sake of all that is holy, has everyone positioned their gaming keyboards' Numpad on the right side? The Everest Max, however, has an advantage over them all for me despite its expensive price, and I will use it going forward.

The Everest software has never given me any problems, at least not while I've been using it.
And I've been playing around with it a lot, changing things like the media dock's DOOM face and adding new graphics and buttons for opening programmes.
However, I hate having to update the Everest's firmware and the app. The most recent firmware update has been stuck at 100% for the past two hours, and the most recent Base Camp upgrade failed with no apparent cause. The majority of that has been worked out now, and I continue to use my sample on a daily basis because it is perfect for how I use my PC to gaming and work

It has a straightforward layout with grey ABS keycaps, a somewhat smaller 84-key layout that only omits the numpad, and a significantly condensed navigation cluster. The Keychron K2's 75% offering may just make me rethink my prior claim that 60% compact keyboards are the way to go if you're a space-saving gamer.

There are lots of common lighting effects and four different lighting levels for backlighting. Although it's lovely and sharp and contrasts the darker keycap colouring nicely, cycling through all the presets to get to the static illumination style is a touch annoying.
